Caracol a Contramano se formo en el año 2006 buscando un sonido original mediante la fusion de generos como: rock, reggae, ska, murga y cumbia.
El primer disco fue rotulado "Todas esas fiestas" y fue lanzado oficialmente en el año 2010. Hoy se encuentran grabando su segundo material discografico.
